Wireshark resources

google.com or filestube.com: wireshark university

Can I run 32bit Wireshark on 64bit Win7?
Sure, I do it all the time.  In fact, I've never actually run 64 bit
Wireshark, even though my OS's are all 64 bit.  Unless you need the
capability of looking at large captures that will force Wireshark to
exceed the 32 bit process memory limit of 2GB, then the 64 bit version is
unnecessary.

PRB: Hung at "Closing file..." when running continuous capture to file
SOLUTION:
to prevent it from happening, make sure the folder where temporary files are stored is not currently displayed  on Explorer or File Manager
