Information here is for XP SP2 but applicable to SP3 too
Note on "Method 2":
1) Do not replace XCOPY command with manual copy-paste!
2) for SP3, replace "xpsp2 /integrate...." command with something like:
c:\XPSP3\i386\update\update.exe /integrate:c:\XPCD
