For best results, you should always change both the media type and the key it will accept (i.e. change the entire PID string from 51883270 to 82503OEM). Changing just the media type sometimes doesn’t work (trying to use VLK media with OEM keys (51883OEM) , for instance).

Recovery CD/partition related
Having a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium sticker and product key attached BUT no recovery discs and the harddisk is damaged
just find someone with an actual Windows 7 install disk of the same type as yours ... and do a clean install from that disk and use the Product Key from the sticker on the bottom of the laptop to activate it. Then install the drivers, utilities, etc. from the Toshiba Support Site

Can I reinstall XP Home using my Dell CD on a different computer?
More than likely if the installation disk is a full install Microsoft XP Home OEM installation disk it will work, but first check the HDD of the laptop and make sure it isn't partitioned with a restore partition the runs a Ghost clone reinstall.
You may only be able to discover that through the CMOS setup and see if theres a restore boot function that you can enable that takes you to the reinstall feature on the HDD if it has one.
Some laptops have had that feature on them at least check because you may already have the OP/SYS reinstallation software already on the HDD.

Regarding starter cartridge
What is a “Starter” Toner/Ink Cartridge?
An unfortunate side-effect of the starter cartridge stems from the fact that very few of them can be properly refilled. The starter cartridge often omit (or block) key components of the cartridge which would need to be “reset” in order it bring it back to full capacity.
Toner Refill Instructions
When you buy a new laser it will often come with what's called "starter cartridges". These are often only quarter full with toner and will last no longer than 1000 pages and being made of inferior plastics will often fail if you attempt to refill them (how else do you suspect the manufacturers can get you to buy a genuine cartridge so quickly!) so its best not to rely on these as potential for refilling as they are not built to be used time and again however if you are prepared to clean the roller and clean the cartridge interior each time then you may be able to artificially extend the life of cartridges significantly

SQL Job seemed to be started, as indicated by "Last Run Status (Start Date)" column, but nothing (neither Successful or Failed) found on "Job History":
The job DID have started but interrupted before it got finished (for example, due to scheduled server shutdown)
Solution: schedule the job to start earlier

Intel vPro is a management platform built into Intel processors and other hardware that allows companies to manage their desktops and laptops out-of-band (OOB). That means the computers can be managed no matter if the computer in on or off, and even if the operating system has failed or there is no hard drive present.
Because vPro is designed for business use, not every Intel processor supports Intel AMT KVM. Specifically what you want to look for is a vPro logo somewhere on your computer.
Note: Only some Core i5 and i7 processors support vPro. Intel does not currently make an i3 processor with vPro.
Along with the supported processor you will also need to be using Intel’s embedded video and Intel network card. Both of these are required because in order to allow out-of-band communication, the KVM server needs direct access to the network interface as well and display to be able to show the connected machine exactly what is being displayed.

It's worth noting that this [Intel AMT or vPro?] is only available on Q-series Intel motherboard chipsets, so it's not really an option on a lot of home PCs.

Connect Windows 7 to a shared printer on XP

Step 4: Next choose Add a local printer. Yes, that sounds counter-intuitive, but this is what you have to do!
Step 5: Next, click Create a new port and choose Local port from the list of options.
Step 6: Click Next and in the Port name box, type in the path to the shared printer. It should be something like \\Aseem\HPXP, where Aseem is the name of your XP machine and HPXP is the shared name of the printer.

Since we can NOT directly search for files modified on 2011 or later AND WRITE THEM TO DVD, we must search for 2012 or later instead then to remove them prior to burning:

Perform Windows search on MYFILES_2:

Delete all files found
Burn MYFILES_2 to DVD
Now you can remove MYFILES_2 folder

Determine what application is using your external/USB drive so it won't eject
aka. determine what app has a file locked (keep a file in use)
Process Explorer (press Ctrl+F then type drive letter of the drive)

CHKDSK related
CHKDSK will not run on my system (tested on Windows 7)
1. Keep tapping F8 during the early boot phase.
2. Select Repair from the menu.
3. Log on as Administrator if prompted.
4. Select Repair when prompted.
5. Select the Command Prompt from the menu.
6. Identify the correct drive letter for your Windows installation. It could be a drive other than C: but it won't be X:. You do it by typing the commands
dir C:\Win*
dir D:\Win*
dir E:\Win*
until you see the Windows folder.
I shall call that drive "Q:".
7. Type this command and press Enter:
chkdsk Q: /R
Related: Windows 7 and chkdsk on boot
Click on Start then Run , type cmd and press Enter . Next type fsutil dirty query x: where x: is your boot drive.

Event viewer \ Application \ Event ID 1001 (Source: WInlogon)

The printer DOES NOT HAVE a label or a sticker mentioning its:
a. No MAC Address Label
b. No WPS Code Label
c. No Serial No. Label
This makes it hell when you need the above information to configure the wifi printer on your router/network.
You have to press & HOLD the Red 'Stop' Button and when the Orange Alert LED starts blinking, you have to start counting till 15 LED Blinks and release, then a network configuration page is printed which has the above info. But only tech savvy person can get to this extent, it should have been made easy for general people as well.
All network devices in the world whether a printer or a mobile or TV, anything that is on a network or is having a Wifi HAS a label/sticker mentioning the above information but this is not found on Canon.
2. The USB Cable is very short meaning you have make an arrangement to keep the printer nearby your computer if you are printing via USB.
3. The Cartridges are double the price you get with that on HP Printers.
4. WIFI CONFIGURATION IS HELL. THE PRINTER SIMPLY DOES NOT CONNECT TO ANY WIFI NETWORK THROUGH ANY COMPUTER. I TRIED ON THREE COMPUTERS ON TWO DIFFERENT ROUTERS, CHECKED MAC FILTERING, DISABLED FIREWALL BUT ALL IN VAIN.
YOU HAVE TO KEEP REINSTALLING THE SOFTWARE FOR RECONFIGURING THE WIFI EVERYTIME AND YOU HAVE TO TRY YOUR LUCK. AFTER MAY BE 15-20 TRIALS IT GETS CONNECTED TO YOUR ROUTER & THAT TOO DELIBERATELY CHANEGING YOUR ROUTER NAME (SSID) BY ITSELF AS IT WISHES AS IF THE PRINTER IS OWNING THE ROUTER/NETWORK.
5. Its manuals, guides, information all are webpage files which is very annoying. No PDF Docs. Whenever you click in the software: 'User Manual', 'Product Information', 'Version', 'Guidance', 'Help', it simply redirects to its preconfigured webpages. An opening of PDF doc would have been more useful.
6. THE PRINTER IS VERY SMOOTH RUNNING WHILE PRINTING, NO PAPER JAMS, NO NOISE, A VERY SILENT PRINTER 'EVEN WITHOUT THE 'QUIET MODE' ENABLED. ELSE WHEN YOU PRINT FROM HP PRINTERS, THEY MAKE SUCH A NOISE 'KHAAD KHUDD KHAAD KHUDD 'AS IF AN 8.9 RICHTER SCALE EARTHQUAKE HAS COME.
7. When you open the Scanner Flap, you'll see that the White board inside, that covers the paper to be scanned, the white board is not a thick plastic piece but rather just a piece of white paper sheet which can get teared off very easily by use.
Also the Flap is very thin & delicate. Do Not keep anything heavy such as books or laptop on the printer, the top is very delicate & will not hold it for long.
8. There is no Numeric LED Display mentioning how much times you have pressed the copy button to get the number of prints. You have to count yourself.
9. DUPLEX PRINTING IS SUPERB.
10. USB & WIFI PRINTING BEGINS SO FAST ONCE CONFIGURED, THAT IT IMMEDIATELY BEGINS PRINTING THE MOMENT YOU HIT PRINT ON THE COMPUTER SCREEN. NO DELAY, NO ADJUSTMENTS OF CARTRIDGES OR THE 'KHAAD KHUDD KHAAD KHUD' in that of HP Printers.
11. NO WINDOWS APP FOR WINDOWS PHONE FOR CLOUD PRINTING. YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN ANDROID PHONE TO USE GOOGLE CLOUD PRINT.
12. CLOUD PRINTING ON COMPUTER VIA GOOGLE CLOUD PRINT WEBSITE IS FABULOUS.
13. INK GETS REDUCED BIT FAST THAN INKS ON HP CARTRIDGES. I PRINTED ABOUT 60 NORMAL PAGES IN STANDARD MODE & THE CARTRIDGE LEVEL DECREASED BY 25%
14. NO DEDICATED SCAN BUTTON ON THE PRINTER. YOU HAVE TO OPEN SOFTWARE ON THE PRINTER AND THEN CLICK SCAN.
15. SINCE A WIFI PRINTER IT SHOULD HAVE A FACILITY TO SAVE/EXPORT NETWORK CONFIGURATION FILE, SO THAT NEXT TIME YOU FORMAT YOUR PC, YOU DONT HAVE TO GO THROUGH HELL ALL OVER AGAIN. BUT THE PRINTER DOES NOT HAVE EXPORT CONFIGURATION FACILITY.

An opening of PDF doc would have been more useful.
6. THE PRINTER IS VERY SMOOTH RUNNING WHILE PRINTING, NO PAPER JAMS, NO NOISE, A VERY SILENT PRINTER 'EVEN WITHOUT THE 'QUIET MODE' ENABLED. ELSE WHEN YOU PRINT FROM HP PRINTERS, THEY MAKE SUCH A NOISE 'KHAAD KHUDD KHAAD KHUDD 'AS IF AN 8.9 RICHTER SCALE EARTHQUAKE HAS COME.
7. When you open the Scanner Flap, you'll see that the White board inside, that covers the paper to be scanned, the white board is not a thick plastic piece but rather just a piece of white paper sheet which can get teared off very easily by use.
Also the Flap is very thin & delicate. Do Not keep anything heavy such as books or laptop on the printer, the top is very delicate & will not hold it for long.
8. There is no Numeric LED Display mentioning how much times you have pressed the copy button to get the number of prints. You have to count yourself.
9. DUPLEX PRINTING IS SUPERB.

11. NO WINDOWS APP FOR WINDOWS PHONE FOR CLOUD PRINTING. YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN ANDROID PHONE TO USE GOOGLE CLOUD PRINT.

When trying to undo a sales shipment - The message: "you cannot undo the "line xx" because a Whse shipment line has already been posted", is a warning for someone who is undoing something that is in fact not undoable (if the goods have been sent!). The fact that you have to delete the Whse shipment represents a kind of stressing that it's something important, some physical work has been made and you are undoing it.”

Cara reyen motor baru
HARD REYEN
Pertama sekali adalah dengan menggeber motor langsung begitu datang dari dealer. Kalau mesin masih bagus berarti memang bandel, namun ada juga yang langsung rontok dengan indikasi macam-macam bunyi dari blok mesin. Nah dari kedua kondisi ini dapat dilihat bagaimana mesin yang bandel dan yang tidak. Timbul pertanyaan dari kondisi kedua, "wah, masa motor baru saya langsung rontok??" dijawab dengan alasan, motor kan masih baru dan garansi, jadi kalau ada apa-apa bisa diganti. Setelah tahap ini lanjut ke tahap berikutnya yaitu untuk 200 km pertama.
1. panasi mesin sebelum dipakai (warm up) sekitar 5-10 menit
2. bawa motor jalan beberapa kilometer
3. kalau kira-kira udah cukup, cari jalan datar terus geber motor dengan gas penuh (full throttle) secara perlahan sampai gigi 2.
4. setelah beberapa ratus meter hentikan motor dan diamkan selama 15 menit dengan posisi kunci kontak off.
5. lakukan secara berkala sampai 200 km pertama.
6. setelah mencapai 200 km ganti oli.
7. selanjutnya pemakaian motor secara normal.

The Short Answer: Run it Hard !
The best method is to alternate between short bursts of hard acceleration and deceleration.

The one on the left was "broken in" [di-reyen] exactly according to the owner's manual. The resulting leaky rings have allowed pressure to "blow by" down into the crankcase on acceleration, and oil to "suck-up" into the combustion chamber on deceleration.
Needless to say, this bike was slow !!
The best thing you can do for your engine is to change your oil and filter after the first 20 miles [=32.2 km]. Most of the wearing in process happens immediately, creating a lot of metal in the oil. Plus, the amount of leftover machining chips and other crud left-behind in the manufacturing process is simply amazing !! You want to flush that stuff out before it gets recycled and embedded in the transmission gears, and oil pump etc...
Use Valvoline, Halvoline, or similar 10 w 40 Petroleum Car Oil for at least 2 full days of hard racing or 1,500 miles [=2414 km] of street riding / driving.

Tingkat gesekan (friction) yang lebih rendah mengakibatkan oli [sintetik] ini tidak cocok untuk situasi break-in (misalnya pada saat awal mesin-baru dijalankan) di mana gesekan diharapkan untuk menghasilkan permukaan yang aus. Tetapi pembuatan mesin yang lebih baik menyebabkan proses break-in tidak terlampau kritis seperti dulu.

Yep. You can delete them.

Window lost focus
Symptom:
You're working with application X but suddenly it loses focus but no new window appear frontmost.
You must click mouse to continue working with app X
Solution:
To find the culprit:
Open several (more than two) applications
Remember current order when pressing Alt+Tab
For example, pressing Alt+Tab from app X will switch to app Y
Now, while app X is in focus, wait until it loses focus again
When it happens, press Alt+Tab
If the next app has changed then you've found the app causing problem
Sometimes an unexpected app is the culprit, like the wireless adapter config window.
