Battery charging related
A common fix that I use with clients who ask me, and whenever I am having issues, is to unplug the battery and the power cord, and press and hold the power button for 60 seconds to eliminate all charge built up in the computer. Then, plug in the power cord but NOT the battery. Turn on and off the computer (properly) and then replace the battery and charge it up. If this doesn't help, you might have a defective battery. However, in normal circumstances, you should be able to remove the battery/charger as long as one or the other is present (a computer only needs one power source, two is helpful in case one fails.) If both are present and the computer fails, this might signify internal power problems.

to get size as small as possible, you have to use laptop parts (e.g. SSD disk) that in turn will increase overall cost (or force you to use less powerful part)

MBR VS GPT (Focus on Difference and How to Convert Safely)
In conclusion, in our opinion, GPT is better.
MiniTool Partition Wizard Free Edition [can] convert the disk style between MBR and GPT.
How to Clone MBR Disk to GPT Disk/SSD
your old hard drive is an MBR partitioned boot disk and your new HDD or SSD is GPT partitioned disk, in this case, you will be required to clone MBR disk to GPT disk or SSD. It is a little bit difficult to manage the job as a bootable issue will happen in high chances if you simply clone MBR HDD to HDD or SSD with GPT partition table. Do remember to convert the GPT to MBR first and start the cloning process.

Data recovery: make a copy of the damaged drive to attempt recovery on the copy

If a call between an extension user and an outside party is established, the call duration can be restricted by a system timer selected for each trunk group (→ Extension-to-Trunk Call Duration [472]). Both parties will hear an alarm tone 15 seconds before the time-limit at five-second intervals. If the timer expires, the line will be disconnected.
COS programming determines to enable or disable this feature (→ Trunk Call Duration Limitation [502]). Whether this feature is applied to outgoing calls only or all calls (how?) is also programmable.

How to Remotely Control Your PC (Even When it Crashes)
Intel vPro is a management platform built into Intel processors and other hardware that allows companies to manage their desktops and laptops out-of-band (OOB). That means the computers can be managed no matter if the computer in on or off, and even if the operating system has failed or there is no hard drive present.
Because vPro is designed for business use, not every Intel processor supports Intel AMT KVM. Specifically what you want to look for is a vPro logo somewhere on your computer.
Note: Only some Core i5 and i7 processors support vPro. Intel does not currently make an i3 processor with vPro.
Along with the supported processor you will also need to be using Intel’s embedded video and Intel network card. Both of these are required because in order to allow out-of-band communication, the KVM server needs direct access to the network interface as well and display to be able to show the connected machine exactly what is being displayed.
iLo port / card for home PC?
It's worth noting that this [Intel AMT or vPro?] is only available on Q-series Intel motherboard chipsets, so it's not really an option on a lot of home PCs.

The printer DOES NOT HAVE a label or a sticker mentioning its:
a. No MAC Address Label
b. No WPS Code Label
c. No Serial No. Label
This makes it hell when you need the above information to configure the wifi printer on your router/network.
You have to press & HOLD the Red 'Stop' Button and when the Orange Alert LED starts blinking, you have to start counting till 15 LED Blinks and release, then a network configuration page is printed which has the above info. But only tech savvy person can get to this extent, it should have been made easy for general people as well.
All network devices in the world whether a printer or a mobile or TV, anything that is on a network or is having a Wifi HAS a label/sticker mentioning the above information but this is not found on Canon.
2. The USB Cable is very short meaning you have make an arrangement to keep the printer nearby your computer if you are printing via USB.
3. The Cartridges are double the price you get with that on HP Printers.
4. WIFI CONFIGURATION IS HELL. THE PRINTER SIMPLY DOES NOT CONNECT TO ANY WIFI NETWORK THROUGH ANY COMPUTER. I TRIED ON THREE COMPUTERS ON TWO DIFFERENT ROUTERS, CHECKED MAC FILTERING, DISABLED FIREWALL BUT ALL IN VAIN.
YOU HAVE TO KEEP REINSTALLING THE SOFTWARE FOR RECONFIGURING THE WIFI EVERYTIME AND YOU HAVE TO TRY YOUR LUCK. AFTER MAY BE 15-20 TRIALS IT GETS CONNECTED TO YOUR ROUTER & THAT TOO DELIBERATELY CHANEGING YOUR ROUTER NAME (SSID) BY ITSELF AS IT WISHES AS IF THE PRINTER IS OWNING THE ROUTER/NETWORK.
5. Its manuals, guides, information all are webpage files which is very annoying. No PDF Docs. Whenever you click in the software: 'User Manual', 'Product Information', 'Version', 'Guidance', 'Help', it simply redirects to its preconfigured webpages. An opening of PDF doc would have been more useful.
6. THE PRINTER IS VERY SMOOTH RUNNING WHILE PRINTING, NO PAPER JAMS, NO NOISE, A VERY SILENT PRINTER 'EVEN WITHOUT THE 'QUIET MODE' ENABLED. ELSE WHEN YOU PRINT FROM HP PRINTERS, THEY MAKE SUCH A NOISE 'KHAAD KHUDD KHAAD KHUDD 'AS IF AN 8.9 RICHTER SCALE EARTHQUAKE HAS COME.
7. When you open the Scanner Flap, you'll see that the White board inside, that covers the paper to be scanned, the white board is not a thick plastic piece but rather just a piece of white paper sheet which can get teared off very easily by use.
Also the Flap is very thin & delicate. Do Not keep anything heavy such as books or laptop on the printer, the top is very delicate & will not hold it for long.
8. There is no Numeric LED Display mentioning how much times you have pressed the copy button to get the number of prints. You have to count yourself.
9. DUPLEX PRINTING IS SUPERB.
10. USB & WIFI PRINTING BEGINS SO FAST ONCE CONFIGURED, THAT IT IMMEDIATELY BEGINS PRINTING THE MOMENT YOU HIT PRINT ON THE COMPUTER SCREEN. NO DELAY, NO ADJUSTMENTS OF CARTRIDGES OR THE 'KHAAD KHUDD KHAAD KHUD' in that of HP Printers.
11. NO WINDOWS APP FOR WINDOWS PHONE FOR CLOUD PRINTING. YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN ANDROID PHONE TO USE GOOGLE CLOUD PRINT.
12. CLOUD PRINTING ON COMPUTER VIA GOOGLE CLOUD PRINT WEBSITE IS FABULOUS.
13. INK GETS REDUCED BIT FAST THAN INKS ON HP CARTRIDGES. I PRINTED ABOUT 60 NORMAL PAGES IN STANDARD MODE & THE CARTRIDGE LEVEL DECREASED BY 25%
14. NO DEDICATED SCAN BUTTON ON THE PRINTER. YOU HAVE TO OPEN SOFTWARE ON THE PRINTER AND THEN CLICK SCAN.
15. SINCE A WIFI PRINTER IT SHOULD HAVE A FACILITY TO SAVE/EXPORT NETWORK CONFIGURATION FILE, SO THAT NEXT TIME YOU FORMAT YOUR PC, YOU DONT HAVE TO GO THROUGH HELL ALL OVER AGAIN. BUT THE PRINTER DOES NOT HAVE EXPORT CONFIGURATION FACILITY.

If the issue is still not resolved we will need to try some resets on the HP LaserJet 3050.

2. If this reset doesn't clear the issue we can try a harder reset. Â We can do this by pressing MENU, scrolling over to SERVICE, pressing ENTER, scrolling over to RESTORE DEFAULTS and pressing ENTER to restore the defaults and ENTER to confirm.
